With an MD in Medicine from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, and specialized training in Gastroenterology from the renowned Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Dr. Yashavanth H S is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a range of gastroenterological conditions.

Dr Yashavanth H S is the author of the paper on Hemosucus pancreaticus (Bleeding from pancreas)- which is world’s largest so far. He is well versed in treatment of GERD, acid peptic diseases, pancreatitis hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver related diseases and detection of early cancers. He is well trained in endoscopy, colonoscopy, variceal banding, polypectomy, ERCP and various other advanced endoscopic procedures.

He considers himself fortunate to have been a student under the tutelage of Dr. D.N. Reddy, whose guidance significantly shaped his journey. Additionally, he was mentored by stalwarts such as Dr. Manu Tandan, Dr. Sundeep Lakhtakia, and Dr. Mohan Ramchandani, further enriching his learning experience.

  • Won The Associations of Physicians of India’s conference, Karnataka Chapter (KAPICON), Medicine Quiz, stands as a shining example of erudition and skill.
  • He secured the Runner-up position in the KRSSDI (Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India – Karnataka chapter) Endocrinology competition, leaving an enduring impact with remarkable performances in various quizzes throughout their academic tenure.

Dr. Yash delivered a presentation on the prevalence of NUDT-15 among IBD patients in India at the IDDF Conference in Hong Kong.

Dr. Yash was chosen as the representative for RGUHS in the national-level inter-university tennis competition.
